Opting to convert a shared inbox into a public inbox grants automatic access to all existing and future teammates, tags, and message templates within that Workspace. Consequently:
The shared inbox becomes visible to all individuals within the same Workspace, and the shared inbox remains inaccessible to users outside of that specific Workspace.
For a new Inbox
Step 1
Click the gear icon on the top right of the inbox and into the settings tab.

Click on Inboxes on the left menu and Add a team inbox.

Once you reach the Teammate access, you can select the option Which teams have access
and go ahead and click Save the change. However, choosing this setting does not automatically include the new public inbox in your teammates' sidebars. On the subsequent screen, you can individually select the teammates who require the inbox to be added to their sidebars.
Step 5
Configure the channels for your inbox, and create rules for the inbox, if you'd like to connect.

In the Settings section, you will customize further items for the inbox; such as adding the inbox to teammates' sidebars, whether to create an analytics report for the inbox, and more.
Step 1
Click the gear icon on the top right of the inbox and into the settings tab. Click on Inboxes on the left menu and Add a team inbox.

Select the inbox, then click the Teammate access section.
Select which teams have access and grant access to specific teams who should have access to this inbox. Recommended if you have teams set up or Select which organization members have access. Grant access to particular organization members who should have access to this inbox.
Step 4
Click Save.
How can I remove a teammate from a team's inboxes?
Navigate to the Teammate access tab for the inbox that you'd like to remove the teammate from., then click Select to which organization members have access. Hover over the teammate and select the checkbox that appears, then click save.
