How to compose, send, and customize messages

Overview

Creating a message in Simpu is incredibly straightforward! The convenient blue Compose button at the top of your inbox is a centralized hub for composing messages across various communication channels linked to Simpu, such as email, SMS, and more. You can seamlessly send messages from your individual or a shared inbox, making it a hassle-free experience.



Instructions

Step 1

Click the Compose button at the top left of your inbox and select the Channel you are trying to send a message through (Email or SMS). You will then be able to enter a mail address or phone number, add attachments and write your message.


Step 2
Change your formatting with the formatting toolbar. You can bold, italicize, or strikethrough text, create inline quotes while you type, add links to your posts and change their display style, or switch between a numbered list and bullet points.

Step 3
Send your message.



Customizing your message

Text Formatting

To access the formatting options in the composer, simply click on the icon located at the bottom left corner. This will allow you to toggle the visibility of the formatting toolbar according to your preference. Emojis

In the simpu composer, you can easily add emojis to your messages. Utilize the emoji picker to conveniently search for the perfect emoji to include in your message. See here for more information.



Attachment

Easily attach files from your computer, Dropbox, or Google Drive by clicking on the paperclip icon. More information on attachments can be found here.



Canned Responses

To insert a pre-defined response, click on the canned responses icon. This will allow you to select from a list of existing canned responses. If you choose to use a canned response, you can customize the message body before sending it, ensuring it meets your specific needs. See here for more information.



Message subject

You will find the subject line below the recipient's field when creating a new message.
