Your inbox serves as a centralized hub in Simpu, gathering all the vital conversations that require your attention. There are various reasons why a conversation may appear in your inbox. It could be assigned to you, you may be mentioned with an "@" symbol, or there could be new activity in a conversation you're subscribed to. Regardless of the trigger, your inbox ensures that you stay updated and can promptly address the essential discussions within Simpu.
Your inbox in Simpu provides a comprehensive overview of all the conversations you actively participate in. This includes conversations assigned to you, those you have been @mentioned or invited to, and those you have subscribed to for updates.
To conveniently access and manage your conversations, click the Inbox option. This will display all your open conversations across different sections in a consolidated view. Alternatively, you can click on each specific area to view conversations separately, allowing you to focus on individual categories as needed.
Utilizing these options allows you to efficiently navigate and stay on top of your conversations within Simpu.
Whenever a conversation is assigned to you, whether it's from a shared inbox or an individual inbox, you can easily track it here. The conversation will remain visible until you choose to either archive it or snooze it for later. This ensures that you have a clear and organized view of the conversations that require your attention, allowing you to manage them effectively within Simpu.
When you are mentioned or invited to a conversation, it will be automatically added to this section. Additionally, any time you send a reply, post a comment or subscribe to the conversation by clicking the bell icon, any new messages or comments will cause the conversation to appear prominently in this section. This way, you can easily stay updated on the latest activity and never miss any significant developments within the chat.
If you have integrated your private work email as an individual inbox in Simpu, all corresponding messages will be directed to this section. By default, these messages remain private, accessible only to you, unless you choose to share your individual inbox with a teammate. It's important to note that conversations within your private inbox are not technically assigned to you.
In Simpu, "close conversation" refers to resolving an issue within a conversation. It means marking the conversation as completed or resolved. However, it's important to note that in Simpu's closed chat, you have the option to undo resolve or reopen a previously resolved conversation if needed.
The drafts stored in your Drafts folder within Simpu are specific to that platform and do not synchronize with the currents in your Gmail or Office 365 inbox, nor vice versa. When you send a message, it will be removed from the Drafts folder and appear in the corresponding inbox from which it was sent.
You have the ability to personalize your sidebar in a way that suits your needs. This includes choosing which items to display and arranging the inboxes and items in the desired order.
