While managing team or individual inboxes, you may need to delete inboxes or remove channels. Deleting inboxes involves permanently erasing entire email accounts while removing channels refers to disabling specific communication channels within the platform, which can be reversed if required. First, let's define the differences between the two:
Simpu's inbox is an organizational folder with one or more channels; an empty inbox is a shared folder where teammates can organize their conversations. When you delete an inbox, its history is destroyed and cannot be recovered. Emails on your Outlook/Gmail or other email client account will not be deleted due to this action.
A channel is an actual account that you are adding to the inbox; which could be email, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc. You can have multiple channels and channel types within one inbox. When you remove a channel, the history will remain in the inbox but the connection will be removed.
Select channels and a list of channels in the Inbox will appear then select a channel and click the red button.
