How to connect a WhatsApp account to your inbox
Overview
Simpu supports WhatsApp as one of its channels. You have the option to effortlessly link your current WhatsApp account or request a new WhatsApp business account.
If you opt for a new WhatsApp business account, simply complete the provided form, and we will assist you in setting everything up with Meta. Please note that this process is not instant and may vary depending on the application.
Connecting an existing WhatsApp account-
Step 1
Go to your inbox settings. Then, choose the appropriate tab - either Organization or Personal inbox - based on the workspace you're in or the specific inbox you wish to connect to the channel.
Step 2
To create a new team inbox, simply click on "Add a Team Inbox" and enter the desired name. If you'd like, you can also provide an optional description. Next, navigate to the Channels menu and select WhatsApp as your preferred option.
Step 3
To connect your existing WhatsApp account, select the WhatsApp Web option. Alternatively, if you're looking to establish a new business line, opt for WhatsApp for Business.
Step 4
After clicking "Connect" on WhatsApp Web, a barcode will appear. Simply scan the code with your WhatsApp device and click "Finish" to complete the process.
To scan the code from your WhatsApp mobile
Step 1
Please launch WhatsApp on your smartphone.
Step 2
To access your chat history, just head over to the page showing all your chats. Then, you'll see the three dots icon up in the top right corner. Give it a click! From the dropdown menu that appears, choose either "linked devices" or "link device" to move forward.
Step 3
Once completed, proceed to select "link device" and scan the barcode displayed on your Simpu page.
Step 4
Please click "Finish" on your Simpu page to automatically connect the channel.
