Generating API key in Simpu

Simpu provides an API key that allows you to securely access and interact with its API services. This guide will walk you through the process of generating an API key in Simpu.

Step 1

Sign In to Simpu

1. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to the Simpu website.

2. Click on the "Sign In" button located at the top-right corner of the page.

3. Enter your credentials (username and password) to log in to your Simpu account.

4. Once you're successfully signed in, you'll be redirected to the Simpu dashboard.


Step 2
Navigate to Developers

  1. In the Simpu dashboard, locate Developers on the top navigation bar.

  1.  On the Left side bar click "API keys" option.


Step 3
Generate a New API Key

  1. On the API key page, you should see an option to generate a new API key. Look for a button that says "Generate public API Key" or "Generate secret key" as the case may be.
  1.  Click on the "generate public Key" button to initiate the key generation process.
  1. Simpu will generate a unique API key for you and display it on the screen. This key will be a long alphanumeric string.
Step 4
Copy and Store the API Key Securely

  1. To ensure the security of your API key, it's important to copy it and store it in a safe place. Click on the "Copy" icon next to the generated API key to copy it to your clipboard.
  1. Paste the API key into a secure location such as a password manager or a text file stored on your computer. Avoid sharing the key with unauthorized individuals.
  1. Take note of any additional instructions provided by Simpu regarding the use and management of the API key.
Step 5
Start Using the API Key

  1. With your API key generated and securely stored, you're ready to start using it to access Simpu's API services.
  1. When making API requests, include the API key in the request headers or as a parameter, depending on the specific API endpoint and documentation provided by Simpu.
  1. Refer to Simpu's API documentation or developer resources for information on how to authenticate and make API calls using your API key.
